About WagePrism

WagePrism is made by Zana, an independent developer. It exists because the take-home pay calculators people rely on are often out of date, unclear about what they include, or never checked against the official figures.

How the numbers are checked

• Every rate comes from the tax authority's own pages and is checked digit by digit. See sources.
• Each release must reproduce test cases captured from official calculators. See accuracy tests.
• Every change is dated in the changelog, and the method is written out in the methodology.

What WagePrism is not

I'm not an accountant or tax adviser, and WagePrism doesn't give tax or financial advice. It isn't affiliated with HMRC, the ATO, IRD, Revenue or the CRA. Figures are estimates for information.

How the site is funded

WagePrism is free. In future it may show clearly labelled ads. Ads will never sit inside or between the calculator and its result, and no financial product will ever be ranked or recommended.

Your data

Calculations run in your browser. Your salary is never sent to us or stored by us. See privacy.
