Pro-rata salary calculator (Australia, 2026–27)
Part-time pay is the full-time salary scaled by your hours. Tax isn't scaled the same way, because the tax-free amount stays the same, so the take-home share of a part-time salary is higher.

Take-home after tax

How pro-rata works
Pro-rata salary = full-time salary × your hours ÷ full-time hours. For example, 3 days a week of a 5-day job is 60% of the full-time salary. Paid leave usually scales the same way.
